16th Dec deadline for objections to new ASDA proposal

December 6, 2011

As you know by now ASDA have changed their plans slightly for the proposed store in Stirchley and are resubmitting amendments to their planning application. There is an opportunity to object to these, but it must be done by the 16th Dec. Many of the issues of concern remain the same: traffic, impact on retail, environment. Although this time the entrance will be on Fordhouse lane rather than Pershore road. Please send comments to http://www.birmingham.gov.uk/planningonline. Or phone 0121 3031115. Planning reference is 2011/03485/PA. (direct link to the planning app is: http://eplanning.birmingham.gov.uk/Northgate/PlanningExplorer/Generic/StdDetails.aspx?PT=Planning%20Applications%20On-Line&TYPE=PL/PlanningPK.xml&PARAM0=540291&XSLT=/Northgate/PlanningExplorer/SiteFiles/Skins/BirminghamNew/xslt/PL/PLDetails.xslt&FT=Planning%20Application%20Details&PUBLIC=Y&XMLSIDE=/Northgate/PlanningExplorer/SiteFiles/Skins/BirminghamNew/Menus/PL.xml&DAURI=PLANNING)

For more info on grounds for objection go to our website: https://superstirchley.wordpress.com/2011/06/22/responding-to-asdas-application/ . Please forward to others who are interested.
